3/20/2023 0 Comments Elf putty blush shades![]() It means they can be a lot less scary than some of the other cream blushes out there! You can get away with applying them with a brush, sponge or with your fingers, but the latter is definitely my preference. One of the things I really love about this blush range is that they go on first quite sheer… and then you can layer them up. And as mentioned above I couldn’t be definite as to which shade is which, but all you have a nice range of bright pink shades, deeper red tones, and orangey tones! The Application ![]() I have 5 of the 6 available shades (as my local Superdrug only carries 5 shades at once). But if you don’t care about that, then you won’t care about it. However, as lovely as these are… there is one major pet peeve about them THERE IS NO SHADE NAME ON THE PACKAGING! So I literally have no idea what shades I own. The packaging is simple and actually quite elegant, with a clear bottom and a black lid. is a super affordable brand! And these blushes have a decent amount of product (10g) for £6. Infused with argan oil and vitamin E for some added nourishment, this silky smooth, buildable formula will give you a flushed-from-within glow. Say hello to that island glow! This lightweight but buildable, putty to powder blush, blends seamlessly into skin. I had decided it was because I hated cream blushes… but I honestly think it’s the fact that the 3 or so formulas I’ve tried just aren’t AMAZING (I mean the Rimmel ones were pretty good, but not like WOW you need it). They were all either too pigmented, oily or just difficult to work with. ![]() Low and behold (and spoiler) I loved it, so went back and picked up the other shades and now I’m coming at you with a full on review.Īs a slight disclaimer before I start this video, before this point I hadn’t ever really found a cream blush I got on with. Cosmetics, and knew I just HAD to pick one up. People ask me constantly if I've had my makeuo profrssionaly done and as you can see probably 75%-85% I use is elf.I was just casually walking through Superdrug picking up my essentials (I wrote the haul up last month) and I spotted some stunning and bright putty blushes from e.l.f. In all, don't think because of the price your makeuo will look cheap. My personal opinion is that elf setting spray (NOT THE MATTE ONE) are just as good. And finally I use their regular and illuminating setting spray interchangeably with my urban decay setting spray which everyone thinks is the best. I have 4 diff blushes I use sometimes but I prefer my loreal only because it's the perfect color for me but their blushes are nice! I use their brow pencil and the new bite sized powder quad. I have their baked highlighter, flare highlighter and cream highlighter which I love all of them. I have their cream contour pallet which is a little warm for me, but 1 Shade can be a decent contour, and the other 2 can be cream bronzer for me and well as the light concealer shade can be used for highlight or whatever. I use their new CC cream as my foundation, it's AMAZING. I use their putty primer and illumatinf putty primer. I'm 3 years in and I'm pretty good at makeup and more than half my products are elf, and I keep going back to try more. I looked into elf bc it was affordable and I heard some gurus say some products were good "high price doesn't mean good formula" so. I got into make up 3 years ago after I gave birth birth my first baby.
